INFRASTRUCTURE:
Situated in Jodhpur (the handicraft city of Rajasthan) (approx. 20 kilometers from the airport) in the State of Rajasthan, UMAID ART GALLERY is in a cutting edge Industrial Town geared primarily towards manufacturing. We are governed by and conform to the norms laid out by the Factories Act of 1948.
We have 4,000 sq mt dedicated to production; finishing and storage with a 300KW power load factor and power back up. The strength of an organization lies in its people. We ensure that our internal processes of hiring, retention and re-training are amongst the best in the Industry. Each person hired goes through a number of interviews during which we assess competence, attitude and cultural fit. Today we have over 40 extremely skilled workers and administrative staff to ensure smooth management of our processes.

PRODUCTION:
Our facility boasts an extensive 'State of The Art' manufacturing unit and with its own treatment and seasoning plants.
We have the very latest in the machinery for plank cutting, four side planning, tenoning and mortising, panel sawing and wide belt sanding. UMAID ART GALLERY currently manufactures a large range of products in an Indian hard wood known as Sheesham, as well as in Maple, Oak, Teak and Mango.

PACKAGING:
We take extreme care in the way we package our products. Before we decide what material to use, for each production item we consult our technical advisors on how best to protect a piece taking into consideration its architecture and its relative weight.
Most pieces are carefully wrapped in foam, plastic, given corner protection and carefully placed in corrugated boxes

SHIPPING & DOCUMENTATION:
All our containers are fumigated and carefully loaded under our staff's custody, that ensures proper handling of cargo. Over the years our shipping personnel have become adept at making optimal space utilization of containers.
Our shipping department tracks the container from the time of dispatch to when it is delivered to the customer to ensure timely delivery of the cargo.
As per the Central Customs & Excise norms all our containers are sealed on our factory premises which cuts down multiple handling of cargo thereby reducing the chances of damage during transit.
